The Southern California Reproductive Center Student Scholarship

Committed to education

Are you a medical student or prospective medical student who is planning to specialize in fertility and reproductive health? The Southern California Reproductive Center is offering a student scholarship to help with the cost of your studies in this field.

To support our commitment to medical education, we are offering $2,000 to help fund one student who displays a passion to help patients in need of reproductive assistance including in vitro fertilization.

This scholarship is awarded once every year.

Who is eligible?

  • Accepted or enrolled full-time at an accredited university
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA

How to apply

All applications are required to submit a 500-word essay and a 60-second video. Essays should explain why you have chosen the field of fertility and reproductive health and how you plan to contribute to the medical field upon graduation. Be creative with the video; this is your chance to stand out. Tell us why you're the best candidate. 

The essay and video should answer the question: Who or what inspired you to enter the field of fertility and reproductive health?

Fill out the form on this page and attach the following. All attachments must include current contact information, including name, address, email, and phone number.

  • 500-word essay
  • 60-second video
  • Completed and signed application form (download here)
  • Proof of attendance or acceptance at an accredited school
  • Copy of official transcript for most recent semester


Signed applications must be received by SCRC no later than August 1st at midnight EST.

The scholarship winner will be determined and notified by email four to six weeks after the end of the entry period. A public announcement will also be issued by SCRC on our website and social media pages.
